Tuesday, April 22, Earth Dinner
Join us as we celebrate our precious Earth, on Earth Day, April 22.
Please come back to this section to view our menu and the special
events we are planning for this day as we continue to work towards a
greener, more sustainable world, through our choices in foods, and
the other supplies that we use to create and sustain a quality life
for today and for the future.
We are delighted to announce that effective June 1, 2008, Claire's
Corner Copia will introduce our first
Artist in Residence Program. One, highly talented artist will be
selected for a six month art show at Claire's Corner Copia. Our
Artist in Residence will have complete freedom to display his or her
artwork, throughout our restaurant, for use as a private gallery. As
new works are completed, individual pieces and complete shows will
change, allowing for a growing and meaningful expression of art.
Mediums will vary, works will grow, and we all will benefit by the
beauty of art.
Connecticut artist, Doug Deveny has been selected as our first
Artist in Residence and we await his work. Many of you will remember
Mr. Deveny and his beautiful paintings from his art show at Claire's
Corner Copia in November of 2007. Art lovers from California,
Pennsylvania, and Connecticut purchased pieces of his work during
the show.
Soon, we will have his Artist's Statement, photograph, and a sample
of his work. Also, we are planning for many exciting events to allow
the public to meet with this exciting artist to learn about his
inspiration and the techniques he uses to create his pieces.
Please come back to our site to see how our program progresses. And,
as always, your suggestions are appreciated. After all, we couldn't
do what we do without YOU.
March, 2008

Chef Claire Criscuolo
Yes! In this workshop Claire will share her strategies and recipes
for healthful snacks, entrees, soups, sandwiches, and desserts that
are delicious and fast for busy and picky eaters. Bring questions,
recipes for re-do, and pick Claire's brain for solutions while she
demonstrates her fresh spinach and pastina soup and tells you why
she chooses organic.
